    I have a 1994 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.2L 318 Magnum. This trucks original owner was my great-grandfather, and it means a lot to me. The ole girl is getting older and my mpg has been dropping with age. I used to average 18-21 hwy, and the last several years, I’ve been happy to get 15mpg/hwy. I added the full V6/V8 kit and could not believe that my FIRST TANK I got 19.1mpg!!! My ole girl got a little of her spirit back!
    I tracked 6 consecutive tanks and saw an average of 15-20% gains in town and 15-26% gains on the highway, depending on how hilly/curvy or flat and strait it was.
    I run 98 ethanol free as well. The truck pulls better in high gear, maintains torque lock under a greater load and all around doesn’t shift as much as before. This is burning cleaner, AND saving wear on my transmission. I couldn’t be happier with the results of such a simple addition to the truck.

    Note: MPG calculations are not from a dash “estimation” display. The calculation is from zeroing trip, filling the tank, running till almost empty, filling the tank, and calculating trip miles divided by gallons required to refill my 26gal tank.
